Stephanie Luther has been part of Haelen Mental Health since 2024, bringing both clinical expertise and leadership to her work. Her approach is future-focused and goal-directed, blending the warmth of client-centered therapy with the structure of directive methods. She draws on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients move from where they are to where they want to be.

Stephanie believes that therapy should be intentional and actionable—each session offering something meaningful to take forward. Together, she and her clients identify what’s not working, clarify what change looks like, and set specific, achievable goals. With her guidance, small steps build momentum, breaking down barriers and creating lasting transformation. Her clinical specialties include building distress tolerance, strengthening emotional regulation, processing trauma, and shifting unhelpful thought patterns. Stephanie’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that consistent, intentional action leads to meaningful change—a principle she weaves into every aspect of her practice.

Beyond direct client work, Stephanie is passionate about developing the next generation of counselors. She provides clinical supervision for graduate students, helping them refine their counseling skills with both compassion and rigor. As a Licensed Addiction Counselor, she also brings a depth of expertise in integrated care, bridging mental health and substance use treatment. At Haelen, Stephanie contributes not only as a clinician but also as a leader and innovator. She values collaboration, program development, and the creation of systems that allow both clients and clinicians to thrive. Her work reflects a balance of clinical excellence, business insight, and a strong commitment to building sustainable, client-centered care models.
