Samantha "Sam" Dietz, is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is a two-time graduate of the Ohio State University, first with her bachelor degree in Behavioral Neuroscience which ultimately led to a Master's in Nursing with a focus in Psychiatric Mental Health. Her experience in healthcare began as a medic in the Ohio Air National Guard and continued in her work within the eating disorder community following graduation from nursing school.
Sam has continued her education post-graduation in integrative psychiatry through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute to align with a whole-health approach, exploring how lifestyle, nutrition, psychotropic medication as well as supplements can support overall wellness. She values including patients in the decision making and treatments to fit their needs, goals, and where their lives are going.
Her experience within the military has opened interests in working with the military community, both active duty members and veterans, and she has particular interest in treatment0resistant depression and anxiety. Sam is the Lead PMHNP in Haelen's Spravato clinic and provides oversight for that clinic as well as building her case load.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys rollerblading, thrifting, and the outdoors here in Colorado.
