Ellie O’Hara is a Dual Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling intern who is passionate about helping clients gain greater control over their lives to promote healthy lifestyles and meaningful relationships. She approaches each session with empathy and an open mind, creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where clients feel heard and valued.

Ellie works with clients of all ages, though she has the most experience working with children and adolescents. When working with children, she incorporates creative play-based interventions to help clients express their thoughts in ways that feel natural and engaging. Through these approaches, she helps clients build healthy relationships, navigate complex emotions, and develop effective coping skills.

When working with adults and families, Ellie draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities to help clients connect their past experiences with their present and future. Her approach includes exploring attachment patterns, fostering empowerment, and utilizing cognitive restructuring to support lasting growth and positive change.

Her clinical interests include anxiety, eating disorders, attachment, personal growth, family and relationship dynamics, and LGBTQ+ support. Ellie is committed to creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges, building resilience, and achieving personal growth.
